‘’The Bank was motivated to partner with the First Lady owing to the charity works of the First Family who have demonstrated values of love and unity at family and community levels. The Board, Management and Staff of Investrust Bank Plc Bank will endeavour to continuously work at looking beyond profits as the Bank continues to invest in communities where it operates with the goal to improve the quality of life for the people, “he said.

Receiving the donation, Mrs Hichilema mentioned that her Office was delighted about the kind gesture which she stated had come at the right time. ‘’We are thankful for the kind gesture, which has come at an appropriate time this holiday season as we endeavour to reach out to the less privileged members of society.

We look forward to future collaborations with Investrust Bank Plc as we work together to support and engage communities,’’ she added. The First Lady also mentioned that the support will go towards supporting one of the local orphanages with necessary supplies ranging from food to detergents and other requirements.
